Yes, it's a trap alright - and we are trapped into getting our oil from other sources than our own - thanks to stupid Democrats like Pelosi, Reed, perhaps Obama. whew.....at least it's not soylent green. You had me worried for a moment. There is a bit of off shore oil that we can get to within a few years.





I think the area we can focus on to really increase American supply is:





Invalidate any retained mineral rights held by previous owners and not used for over 20 years. If those unused rights reverted to the current owners.....people would have the rights to drill on their own land....and we could see another 5-10 billion barrels accessable just in Texas.
At least he will drill...and I guess Flipper will too...I can't wait to watch the DNC ...it will be a circus...I challenge you to take pencil in hand, and listen to ALL the promises...but won't mention taxes...oh excuse me...look for the the word, ';Invest'; that's code for taxes...and look for the word, ';Progressive'; that is code word for liberal...still a wolf in sheep's clothing...listen to the anti capitalism rant..big business bad...excessive profits...then sit back and record ALL the promises..free health care, bring troops home...pay for your college education, etc...but try..just try to listen to see how they propose to pay for all these?
