Are U personally happy that President Bush lowerd th cost of oil by eliminating the E.O. restriciting drilling

Now if Congress and Nanny Pelosi Helmsly would allow drilling the cost would drop to less than $100 a barrel.Are U personally happy that President Bush lowerd th cost of oil by eliminating the E.O. restriciting drilling
A positive step for Bush and America but the ledger is still very unbalanced. You'll get no argument from me on the point of 90% of the Dem party arrogating power to the detriment of our nation's wellbeing, but Bush and too many Republicans have made themselves undistiguisable as the amnesty heresy has provedAre U personally happy that President Bush lowerd th cost of oil by eliminating the E.O. restriciting drilling
Bush had nothing to do with the lowering of the price of oil. He may have eliminated the restriction in oil drilling but Congress has also to act on it. If I know Congress, all hell will freeze before they get around to it. The recent minuscule drop in price of oil recently was the result of the noticeable drop in consumption.
Yippee, despite this week's decline, oil is still trading at nearly 90 per cent above the price a year ago.

And yes no new drilling has commenced.

';The price of oil has fallen by more than 10 per cent since Monday and declined by $16 in the past three days.

The fall has been accelerated by an unexpected increase in US crude inventories, which rose by 3 million barrels to 296.9 million for the week ending July 11, against market forecasts of a decline of 2.2 million barrels';.
He can't do anything unless Congress passes it. And what will the Oil Producers do with the 68 million acres they already have leased and did not drill for oil on?

';Americans are fed up every time they go to fill up and they're right to demand action. But instead of a serious response, President Bush and his allies simply repeat the same old line more drilling,'; Rep. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., said in the Democrats' radio address.

';Democrats support more drilling,'; he said. ';In fact, what the president hasn't told you is that the oil companies are already sitting on 68 million acres of federal lands with the potential to nearly double U.S. oil production. That is why in the coming days congressional Democrats will vote on 'Use It or Lose It' legislation requiring the big oil companies to develop these resources or lose their leases to someone else who will.';

And hasn't everyone been saying there is ';Nothing'; Bush can do to reduce Oil prices? And now they think he deserves credit for a sudden drop (temporary I am sure) in the oil prices?

And why did the Federal Land Management lease to Oil and Gas and has yet not leased any land for solar energy?

';Mr. Resch said the decision was important given that while the bureau managed to approve a considerable number of oil and gas leases on public land, it “had yet to lease a single acre of land to the solar industry.”

I am sure bush had his reasons, I will believe it when I see it, the bitc**s, pelosi fineswine and boxer, are fighting against this, Gee I wonder which one of them has the most oil stocks, in foreign oil, the greed in this country is unbelievable!! and citizens of the USA are letting it happen!!!
So let me get this straight...

Everyone thinks it's a supply problem, so they go ';WE NEED MORE OIL!'; and Bush goes ';Alright! We'll drill here';

So he lifts the executive order and no drilling starts at all.

Prices go down.

Everyone still cheers ';YAY! IT WAS A SUPPLY PROBLEM!';

Seriously??? Do you not see the failure in the logic?

Now the question is... since this has been an argument for so long, and all he had to do was wave the magic wand that he said he didn't have to make oil prices go down... what took him so long?

There's no way he got THAT lucky to pick the exact day oil prices start falling... right?
Yes I am.

No she won't, she's more interested in stubborn politics. Like most leftists, the blinding hatred of one man clouds their judgement of all things. She doesn't want the president to ';win.'; Therefore we all suffer.

A word that begins with ';C'; comes to mind.

Care to guess which one?
Actually, I lost a little respect for him since it took him so long to do it - how much does he REALLY care about Americans, versus caring about making his party look superior? He could have done this long ago, and he refused.
Yes, it has made me happy. But the environmentalist-owned far-left Dems will never come around. They will continue to obfuscate any attempt by the Republicans to lower the price of oil.
oil prices around here haven't changed for weeks. guess the oil companies aren't passing the savings on to me.
Not really. Bush raises oil prices, now he lowers right before he leaves. The damage is done.
Pelosi and her possi will stop it just like they did 2 years ago! McCain 08'
Yeah well the democrats did promise change you know.
yes I am and, I agree.
Lol.... Bush hasn't lowered the cost of oil, his policies have only increased it.

The Democrats have been working to stop oil speculation and investigate price gouging - something the President doesn't want to do.

High prices for oil and gasoline aren't thanks to the Dems - it's thanks to the Bush Republican energy policy put in place since 2001.
No!
