Why should we drill for oil in the Alaska NWR?

If we drill for oil in the Alaskan National Wildlife Reserve will gas be cheaper at the pump? If so, then why isn't the oil that we're pumping from Alaska today any cheaper than the oil we import from Saudi Arabia? Why does oil from Texas cost as much as Saudi oil? Do Alaskans and Texans hate America as much as the Saudis?Why should we drill for oil in the Alaska NWR?
It is simple,


If you have a factory and making products you will sell it based on the market prices if it is the same quality as the imported.





The pricing of gasolin is based on the market not based on their manufactring cost.





The estimated cost of producing one barrel of oil in the Middle East is about 3-4 $? I am assuming it is between 9 to11 $ from Alaska. then why it reached 115 $ ?

the reason is to add more oil to the global market in doing so the price of oil will come down.. this should be fairly simple to understand and while we're at it we should drill off Calf. and the Gulf of Mexico. And as an added tid bit there is up to 4 billion barrels of oil in rock in North Dakota so we should drill there too!
1. It would be cheaper because we wouldn't have to buy it from other countries.


2. We could stop pandering to terrorist nations because we want to buy their oil.


3. We could employ more Americans.





As for the polar bears, they roam over hundreds of miles. Taking a couple of square miles to drill for oil isn't going to destroy their habitat. These environmentalist wackos need to get over it.
99.99% of the oil coming down the Alaskan pipeline is exported out to other countries. The majority of the Texas oil wells have been capped because the EPA has made it too expensive for us to get oil out of the ground. As to ANWR, well if we did drill there, and if the EPA would be reasonable, we would no longer be dependent on foreign oil.
We should have been doing it a decade ago. But if we do that the Socialists can't knock the US a rung or two down the ladder under the guise of ';Environmentalism'; Since the main reason for much of the ';green movement'; is to place such a burden on developed countries,as to weaken their economies,create turmoil among their citizens,and create a pathway towards another socialist movement.
