Drilling for oil but for Stockpiles for the Military.?

I dont believe in drilling, however I do believe that we should drill the oil offshore and stockpile it so that we can fuel our fighter jets and tanks.





If we sell the oil commercially, we will just lower the prices and not get ourselves into new technology that will help us remove or need from the Middle East.





However tanks and planes cannot run on electricity yet, they require lots more power than a battery can provide. So we need to keep it safe so our hardware is not rendered ineffective in times of war.





As a smart american, you can say that honeslty this is the best course. Drill the oil and save it for the Military, mean while develop our resources to get american vehicles off the oil. Drilling for oil but for Stockpiles for the Military.?

Obama did vote for a 2005 energy bill backed by President Bush that included billions in subsidies for oil and natural gas production. McCain opposed the bill on grounds it included unnecessary tax breaks for the oil industry. Of course now when we need to the democrats are against it. Now Obama doesn't want it and McCain does so vote McCain so we are no longer hostage to foreign oil.
